Cargill Aeronautical Academy

Cargill Aeronautical Academy is a flight school on Airport Road in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg. It trains under both FAA Part 61 and Part 141.

Courses cover the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial certificate and flight instructor (CFI) training, and qualified pilots can rent aircraft. The academy encourages students to set clear goals with their instructor so that training can be tailored and costs managed. It points out that the total cost depends on the student’s commitment as well as on aircraft and instructor rates.

Since it opened, the academy has taken part in the TSA programme for foreign student flight training. Discovery flights are available for first-timers.
