Overview
Wilkes Flying Club is a non-profit flying club at Wilkes County Airport (UKF) on Wood Wallace Drive in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. It aims to keep flying affordable for both student and experienced pilots.
The club keeps a Piper Cherokee (PA-28-180) at the airport for members to fly. Members use an online scheduler to book it. Flight training is given by the club’s instructors, whose qualifications include CFI, CFII and MEI ratings. The club also supports the EAA Young Eagles programme, which offers young people free introductory flights.
People can apply for membership through the club’s website.
