Heritage Flight Academy

Heritage Flight Academy is an FAA Part 141 flight training academy at Long Island MacArthur Airport, 2075 Smithtown Avenue, Ronkonkoma, New York. It is also approved by the Veterans Administration to train eligible veterans.

The academy trains under both Part 141 and Part 61. Courses run from the private pilot certificate through the instrument rating and commercial certificate to flight instructor ratings, including the MEI. Tailwheel training and aircraft rental are also available.

The founder set up the school to keep the dream of flight alive in a safe, professional and enjoyable setting. Discovery flights let newcomers try flying with an instructor.
