Overview

This listing is for ATP Flight School’s New York training centre at Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in Ronkonkoma. ATP is a large US airline pilot academy with training centres across the country.

The ISP centre trains students on ATP’s Airline Career Pilot Program, a full-time route that takes students from zero time to the commercial pilot certificate and flight instructor ratings (CFI and CFII), with 100+ hours of multi-engine time. Training includes private pilot, instrument rating, commercial and cross-country flying, with simulators supporting the flying. ATP also offers courses for pilots who already hold some ratings and want to continue.

ATP’s instructors staff each location, and many locations have on-site maintenance facilities run by ATP.
