Eastern Slope Aviation Academy

Eastern Slope Aviation Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation based on Lyman Drive in Fryeburg, Maine. It provides aviation education and mentoring for students and local residents interested in careers in aviation.

The academy offers instruction and seminars, information on private pilot requirements and a Redbird flight simulator. It also has a donated 1971 Grumman American aircraft that has not flown in years. Students and members will rebuild it as an academy project to make it airworthy again, learning hands-on maintenance along the way.

The academy relies on membership and donations, and gift certificates are available.
