Overview
Key City Fliers is a non-profit flying club at Dubuque Regional Airport, Iowa, with hangars off Highway 61. It gives members access to safe light aircraft at affordable rates.
The club’s Piper fleet includes a Cherokee 140, an Archer II and a Dakota. Members can learn to fly by combining self-study and ground school with flight time alongside an instructor, and they can be in the air on their first day. Instrument instruction (CFII) and cross-country flying are available.
The club points out that most small aircraft are flown by ordinary people, from teachers and nurses to bankers and electricians. Members can park in the hangar while they fly.
