Overview

Freedom Aviation is a flying school and club in the Control Tower building at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, near Cirencester. It is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO). Sarah and Dave founded it in 2006 with a single aircraft.

The fleet now includes Piper PA-28-161 Warriors and American Champion Citabrias. Training covers the PPL, Night Rating, IMC, tailwheel conversion, aerobatics and UPRT, with ground school. The school also runs FRTOL (radio licence) practical exams.

Club members can join hour-building trips, and trial flights are available for anyone who wants to try flying.
