Flight Performance Training

Flight Performance Training (FPT) is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in a hangar at Brighton City Airport, Shoreham, West Sussex. It specialises in upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) and advanced handling.

Courses include UPRT for commercial pilot students, aerobatic and formation training, SEP class rating renewal, and instructor courses. The instructor courses cover the Flight Instructor Certificate (FIC(A)), aerobatic instructor training, night instructor training and FI/IRI/CRI refresher seminars. FPT also runs ad hoc sessions for licensed pilots who want to fly with an instructor and improve their handling.

For the public, FPT offers trial lessons, aerobatic and formation experiences, and corporate days.
