Acron Aviation Academy

Acron Aviation Academy is an airline pilot training organisation with a London Training Centre on Gatwick Road in Crawley, close to Gatwick Airport. The academy says it has been training pilots for more than 40 years, and its main flight training campus is in the United States.

Its US programmes run under FAA Part 141 and Part 61 on Cessna 172, Piper Archer, Cirrus SR20 and Piper Seminole aircraft, with simulators and ground school. The academy has about 200 instructors with a combined 186,000 hours. Most FAA graduates go on to work as flight instructors, which gives them paid hour-building.

The Crawley centre is the academy’s UK base for airline pilot programmes. Course details and entry requirements are on the academy’s website.
