Overview
AerFin is an aviation asset and parts company with a base at Unit 8, Indurent Park, on Queen’s Way in Newport, South Wales. It buys, sells, leases and repairs aircraft, engines and parts, aiming to give owners more value and to give airlines, lessors and MROs a lower-cost supply of material.
Its services cover component sales, engine MRO services, aircraft and engine trading and leasing, and tailored material service level agreements. It also extends the working life of parts through its engine and airframe expertise.
AerFin says it has more than 600 customers across six continents and is an approved supplier to more than 300 airline operators. Recent news on its website includes support for Boeing 737 MAX operators with LEAP-1B engines and material, a global inventory network for the A320neo, and the purchase of former Japan Airlines Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The website also reports that ORIX Aviation is to acquire AerFin.
For airlines and lessors, AerFin can act as a single source for used serviceable material, engine support and the part-out of older assets.
