Overview
Aviation Park Group operates the Business Aviation Centre at Aviation Park on Flint Road, Saltney Ferry, at Hawarden Airport near Chester. The airport sits on the Welsh and English border, with links to Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales, and was an RAF base in the Second World War.
The group was formed in 1994, when its founder and chief executive Colin Butt bought 30 acres of land and buildings at the airport. About ten years later it bought another 30 acres and added rental offices and warehouses. It now has more than 350,000 sq ft of rental space and around 40 tenants, in aviation and other sectors.
In 2005 it opened a purpose-built FBO for business and leisure travellers. The group has more than 20 years of experience handling corporate and VIP passengers and aircraft, and has a dedicated corporate and VIP lounge.
Its ground staff handle corporate, VIP and general aviation aircraft every day, managing fuelling, loading, catering and aircraft movements. Hangar and apron space is also available.
Operators and passengers can contact the team at the Business Aviation Centre to arrange handling.
