Overview
This listing covers Aeros Flight Training’s base at Cardiff Airport, off Rhoose Road near Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. Aeros was established in 1986 and also has bases in Gloucester, Leeds East, Wellesbourne and Fife.
Flying from a major international airport with a long runway and controlled airspace gives students early experience of airline-style operations. Aeros trains pilots from the PPL through to the CPL, multi-engine and instrument ratings and MCC. Its ATPL theory course is taught by airline pilot instructors, either in the classroom or by distance learning. The fleet includes Tecnam, Piper and Cessna single-engine aircraft and the Diamond DA42 twin.
Trial flights can be booked online.
