Overview
Red Dog Aviation flies an ex-RAF Scottish Aviation Bulldog from Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey. The Bulldog is a side-by-side two-seat aerobatic trainer once used to train RAF pilots, Air Cadets and University Air Squadron students.
The company offers trial lessons and gift voucher flights in the Bulldog, including aerobatics. As a training organisation, it also supports LAPL and PPL training, Night Rating, IMC and instrument rating work, and cross-country flying.
Redhill is a grass airfield dating from 1933. During the Battle of Britain, it served as a satellite and emergency landing ground for Biggin Hill and was a base for Spitfires and Hurricanes. Visitors meet the team on the landside part of the aerodrome.
