Overview

The London Transport Flying Club (LTFC) is a not-for-profit members’ flying club at Fairoaks Airport in Surrey. London Transport busmen founded it in 1931 to make flying affordable for everyone.

The club operates Piper PA-28-161 Warrior and PA-28-181 Archer aircraft for members to fly, and it focuses on building a flying community around them. Members have access to the club’s aircraft and to flight instructors.

The club remains members-only and keeps costs down by running on a non-profit basis. Membership enquiries go through the club website.
