Central Flight Training

Central Flight Training is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) at Tatenhill Airfield, near Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire. It specialises in advanced and professional training after the PPL. It works with individual students, other ATOs and AOC operators holding UK licences.

Courses include the IMC and Instrument Rating, MEP and SEP class ratings, and Performance Based Navigation. A wide range of instructor courses is also offered: the Flight Instructor Certificate (FIC), night and aerobatic instructor, Instrument Rating Instructor and multi-engine instructor privileges.

Students say the quieter airfield and the option to train part-time suit pilots who are fitting training around work.
