Overview
Three Counties Flying School flies from Netherthorpe Airfield near Worksop. The airfield sits where Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire meet, which gives the school its name. It operates from the airfield’s grass runways.
The school teaches the PPL and NPPL on two-seat training aircraft, with ground school and cross-country training. It also offers further ratings such as the Night Rating and IMC. Qualified pilots can hire aircraft. Between them, the instructors have more than 50,000 flying hours.
