GSS Avionics

GSS Avionics is an avionics electronics company at Unit 4, Wessex Buildings, Somerton Business Park on Bancombe Road in Somerton, Somerset. It specialises in data bus technology used in military and aerospace systems.

Its products cover MIL-STD-1553, STANAG 3910 and EFABus Express. The range includes bus analyser software, databus cards and related electronics, which engineering teams use to test and develop aircraft systems that share data over these buses.

Alongside its products, the company offers engineering services. It works with product engineering teams to turn ideas and intellectual property into functional prototypes, field demonstrators and production-ready products. It says it is an approved supplier to FTSE 100 companies and research institutions.

GSS Avionics also provides support and training to its customers internationally, using cloud technologies so that help is not limited to its Somerset base. Consultations can be booked through its website.

This is a specialist supplier for defence and aerospace engineers rather than an aircraft maintenance shop, so it suits teams working on avionics integration and testing.
