Ascent Aviation

Ascent Aviation runs flight simulator experiences from Napier Street in Linwood, near Paisley and Glasgow Airport. The business was founded in 2019 to give people a taste of flying and to inspire future pilots.

Its simulators cover the Boeing 737NG, the Airbus A320 and the Cessna 172 light aircraft. Customers can pick from more than 24,000 airports worldwide and choose the weather, time of day and season. An instructor guides each session, and family and friends can come along. Sessions start from about £59.

This is a simulator experience centre, not a licensed flight school. It suits first-timers, aviation enthusiasts and pilots who want extra practice.
