ACLAS Technics Limited is an aircraft component repair and overhaul specialist at Rankine Square on the Deans Industrial Estate in Livingston, West Lothian. It works for airlines, aircraft manufacturers and lessors around the world, and recertifies components under EASA and FAA Part 145.

The company’s core work is in three areas. It repairs, overhauls and inspects flight controls for the ATR 42/72 and for Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and Dornier aircraft. It fully overhauls and refurbishes leading-edge de-icers, gas paths and engine intakes, including embodiment of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins. It also repairs, overhauls and tests structural components such as doors, hatches and aerodynamic fairings, and its capability list runs to more than 2,000 line items.

For ATR operators, ACLAS runs a ‘one-stop shop’ with stock of ATR 42/72 flight controls, leading-edge de-icers, engine intakes and other parts. These are available for exchange, loan or outright purchase, and other components can be sourced on request.

The team also travels to provide AOG and technical support worldwide. That includes borescope inspections, damage assessments for insurance claims, EASA Part 145 storage certification and structural inspections.
