Helicentre Aviation – Oxford Base

This is the Oxford base of Helicentre Aviation, a helicopter training academy at London Oxford Airport in Kidlington. Helicentre was established in 2001 and also has a centre at Leicester. It describes itself as the UK’s leading professional helicopter pilot training academy.

Courses include the PPL(H), the integrated and modular CPL(H), ATPL(H) theory, the Instrument Rating, type ratings and hour building. Training is on the Guimbal Cabri G2 and Robinson R44. All courses are approved by the UK CAA.

The company also offers helicopter charter, trial lessons and experience flights, and runs free career seminars for people interested in becoming professional helicopter pilots.
