Overview

Kernan Flying School is a microlight flying school and club on Mullahead Road near Tandragee in County Armagh. Raphael O’Carroll, a pioneer of microlight flying in Ireland, founded it in 1999.

Training is on the Ikarus C42 microlight for the NPPL with a microlight rating. The school’s instructors complete demanding instructor training after many hours of their own flying, and the school has built a reputation for professionalism and friendliness.

Scenic flights over the local countryside are available, and gift vouchers can be bought for them.
