Open Blue Flight Training

Open Blue Flight Training is a flying school at Bagby Airfield near Thirsk in North Yorkshire. It is the trading name of MAL Aviation Services, and it was set up to make flying more accessible.

Training uses a Piper PA-38 Tomahawk and a Cessna 172. It leads to the LAPL and PPL, with the Night Rating, SEP revalidation and hour building also available. Lessons are structured to meet UK CAA requirements, and the school concentrates on its aircraft, its instructors and student progress.

Trial flights are available for anyone curious about flying, and gift vouchers can be bought online.
