Overview
HELI145 is the maintenance arm of THEHELIGROUP, working from Hangar 2 at the Business Aviation Centre, Buck Courtney Crescent, Norwich Airport. The group began as a consultancy, aviationconsult, in 2017.
HELI145 holds UK CAA Part 145 approval UK.145.01352. Its approval covers the Leonardo AW109, AW119, AW139 and AW169 and the Airbus H125 and H145. The team has also worked on Bell types, and has supported projects in China, the Middle East, Africa and Western Europe.
Its sister organisation, HELI147, is a Part 147 training organisation (UK 147.0127 and EASA 147.0197) running type training on the AW139, AW169, AW109 and BK117 D2/D3. The group says it is the only combined Part 145 and Part 147 helicopter business that is independent of any operator.
Other services include pre-purchase inspections, delivery and acceptance support, continuing airworthiness planning, and technical expert witness work. Its HELICAPTURE service produces 3D models of helicopters for training or pre-purchase checks.
Being independent, the team offers rapid mobilisation to operators worldwide.
