Flyers Flying School

Flyers Flying School is at Elstree Aerodrome on Hogg Lane, near Borehamwood. Its location on the northern edge of London makes it convenient for students from the capital and the Home Counties. It is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

Each student is given a dedicated instructor for continuity. Courses cover the LAPL and PPL with ground school, radio telephony, the Night Rating, IMC (IR(R)), Instrument Rating, multi-engine rating and differences training. The school also runs a flying instructor course and handles renewals and revalidations. Training uses Piper PA-28s and a Cessna 172.
