Overview

Pagoda Flight Training is a flying school at Barton Aerodrome (City Airport Manchester) on Liverpool Road, Eccles. It puts the student at the centre of training and keeps its prices competitive.

The school trains pilots for the PPL and LAPL and runs instructor courses (FIC, IRI and CRI). Lessons are booked in two-hour slots, with proper pre-flight briefings, free long briefings, ground school and exams. Membership is free. Barton sits in uncontrolled airspace, which the school sees as a benefit for students learning to fly. It also helps pilots plan what to do after gaining their licence.

The office is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm.
