Cabin Avionics Ltd supplies video monitoring and medical equipment for large commercial aircraft. Its listed office is Electra House on Pepper Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport. The company is part of the Mythra Group, owner of AD Aerospace, and since 2018 its operations have run from AD Aerospace’s offices at Preston Brook, Runcorn.

The business began in 2002 as Bournemouth Aviation Limited and took the Cabin Avionics name in 2012.

Its main product is Skycam, a flight deck door monitoring system designed to meet EASA requirements. The standard kit has a Dzus-mounted colour display and three adjustable colour cameras, supplied with EASA Form 1 and an installation package. An EASA approved modification is available for most large aircraft types, including Boeing, Airbus, BAe and Bombardier.

Accessories include digital recorders, camera expansion units for up to 16 cameras, infrared cargo cameras and analogue to IP video converters.

The company also supplies the FRx defibrillator kit, approved for use on large commercial aircraft. It comes with a carry case, pads, a spare battery and other items.
