Overview

AeroSchool Flight Academy trains pilots at Breighton Airfield, a grass airfield near Selby in North Yorkshire. Breighton is one of four AeroSchool bases, with the others at Teesside International Airport, Humberside Airport and Manchester Barton Aerodrome.

The fleet includes Piper PA-28 Warriors, Cessna 150s and 172s, and a Tecnam P2006T twin for multi-engine training. Courses cover the NPPL, LAPL and PPL, Night Rating, IMC and Instrument Rating, multi-engine (MEP) rating and the CPL, with ATPL theory for students heading towards an airline career. Qualified pilots can hire aircraft.

Training across different bases gives students experience of grass strips as well as busy controlled airports. Scenic flights and gift vouchers are also available.
