Burwood Aviation Supplies Ltd is an independent, privately owned aircraft component stockist and distributor in Verwood, Dorset. It supplies parts for all major commercial aircraft to airlines, MROs, repair shops and dealers around the world.

The Golding family set up the company in February 1995 as a father-and-son partnership, starting with no stock in a back bedroom. It spent 12 years in a hangar at Fairoaks Airport, near Chobham, and moved to the south coast after Daron Golding bought out his father’s share in 2008. A separate fastener business started along the way was later sold to its management.

Today Burwood owns a self-contained facility of more than 22,000 sq ft in Verwood, holding over 25,000 line items for most major aircraft platforms. It buys and sells everything from the smallest components to complete airframes. Parts are available for outright sale, exchange, loan or lease. The company has built up stock of AOG ‘no go’ items that keep aircraft on the ground, and consumables are supplied factory new with OEM certificates and full traceability.
