Flymoore Aircraft Engineering

Flymoore Aircraft Engineering is an aircraft maintenance and refinishing business at Hangar 13, Dunkeswell Aerodrome, near Honiton in Devon. It is a UK Combined Airworthiness Organisation, approval number UK.CAO.1037.

Resprays are a large part of its work. Its bare-metal refinishing process uses non-corrosive paint strippers. After painting, the aircraft is rebuilt with all-new hardware, including stainless steel fasteners. The job also covers bearing maintenance, wheel refinishing, polishing and sealing the windows, and fitting custom placards.

Flymoore refurbishes interiors, from a light refresh to a complete refit with leather upholstery, custom side panels and new carpets. On the avionics side, it makes custom instrument panels to fit new instruments and engine management systems, or to tidy up an existing panel layout.

The company also carries out composite repairs, metalwork, insurance repairs, non-destructive testing (NDT) and general engineering work.
