JMC Aviation is an aviation recruitment, engineering and training company with its European head office at Exeter Airport. It supplies engineers and other staff to MROs, aircraft manufacturers and airlines worldwide. It says it places more than two million hours of contract workforce a year and operates in over 35 countries. Its other offices include Etobicoke in Ontario, Abu Dhabi and Nairobi.

The engineering arm completes more than 330 projects a year, many of them for a fixed price and some urgent. Its specialities include fuel tank repair and modification, and Boeing 737 pickle fork repair and replacement, which it aims to turn around in 8 to 10 days using mobile repair teams. It has also completed over 3,000 in-flight Wi-Fi installations on Airbus, Boeing and regional jets, working with systems such as Starlink, Viasat, Intelsat, Panasonic and Thales.

Case studies on the website include Boeing 737 flight-length-sensitive tank inspections for Czech Airlines Technics, the company’s first Boeing 767 C-check, an Embraer 190 teardown, a Q400 tank modification programme and ATR cargo conversions.

JMC also runs engineering, safety and regulatory courses, including aircraft and fuel tank training. Courses can be tailored and delivered at a location of the client’s choice.
