Abbott Aerospace UK Ltd is an aerospace design and certification engineering firm. Its UK project office is at Lion House, 10 Fore Street Hill, Budleigh Salterton, Devon. The company was founded in Ontario, Canada, in 2008, and began by helping modification programmes and aircraft start-ups develop composite structures.

Its work now runs from clean-sheet configuration through to certification management. It covers composite and metallic structures, mechanical systems, landing gear and loads engineering.

On stress analysis, it handles initial sizing, hand calculations, finite element models and certification stress reports, aiming for light parts that are simple to make. It provides certification-level loads for conventional Part 23 aircraft and preliminary loads for advanced prototypes.

Its structural design covers composite and metallic sub-assemblies, CNC machined parts, weldments and sheet metal, along with CAD and drawing production. On the mechanical side, it designs and analyses moving structures such as landing gear, flight controls and door mechanisms, including kinematic models, stress analysis and fatigue assessment.
