Civil Aviation Technical Training Solutions (CATTS) Ltd is a Part 147 approved aircraft maintenance training provider based at the Brook Street Centre in Knutsford, Cheshire. It holds approvals from the UK CAA, EASA, the UAE GCAA and Jordan’s CARC for B1, B2 and C licence category training, both theoretical and practical.

The main courses are type training on commercial aircraft. The published schedule includes full courses on the Airbus A320 with V2500 engines, the A330 with Trent 700 engines and the Boeing 737 NG and 777, as well as an engine-only course on the A350’s Trent XWB. Each course has theoretical and practical phases with set start dates.

CATTS also runs specialist courses in human factors, fuel tank safety, Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), engine ground running, borescope inspection and general aircraft familiarisation. Some of these are available as certified online training, and the company has launched CATTS Safety Services.

Its customers include airlines as well as private individuals. The team includes an accountable and quality manager, a training manager, an exam manager and an operations manager.
