Thunder Over Michigan is held at Willow Run Airport, where Ford built B-24 Liberators during the Second World War, and the 2027 show has the US Air Force Thunderbirds at the top of the bill. It runs for three days. Friday is a shorter afternoon and evening session with gates opening at 1pm and flying from about 4pm, and Saturday and Sunday are full days. There are aircraft rides, a static display, food trucks and a kids’ Adventure Zone on the ground. Performers can change, so keep an eye on the official site as the show gets closer.

Dates: Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2027.
