Brief History
Opened in 1942 as a WWII Army Air Corps training base, PRC transitioned to civilian use in 1947. Embry-Riddle launched its Prescott campus here in 1978, now training 2,000+ aviation students annually. American Airlines returned in 2021 via SkyWest CRJ-200s, restoring EAS-subsidized service. Home to North-Aire Aviation (Part 141 school) and Guidance Air (medevac). Named Arizona Airport of the Year in 2022 for infrastructure upgrades.
