Brief History
Established in 1964 to support the Glen Canyon Dam construction workforce, Page Airport quickly became a tourism lifeline. Early operators like Westwind Aviation (founded 1987) pioneered Antelope Canyon air tours, now joined by Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines and Papillon. The city assumed full ownership in 1997, investing in upgrades including a new terminal (2011) and LED runway lighting. Today, it supports over 50,000 annual operations, blending GA with high-volume sightseeing flights.Essential Facilities
