DESCRIPTION:SUN ‘n FUN is Florida’s big spring fly-in and the unofficial start of the American air show season. Every April\, thousands of light aircraft\, homebuilts\, warbirds and seaplanes fly into Lakeland Linder International Airport\, turning it into one of the busiest airfields in the world for a week. The daily air shows run every afternoon\, and there’s often a night show with lit aircraft and fireworks. Away from the flight line there are hundreds of exhibitors\, forums and workshops for pilots and builders\, plus a big campground where many visitors stay for the whole event. It’s a relaxed\, family-friendly show and a good alternative to Oshkosh if you prefer warmer weather. SUMMARY:FIDAE 2028 – Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport\, Santiago\, Chile
DESCRIPTION:FIDAE\, the International Air and Space Fair\, is Latin America’s leading aerospace show and is held every two years at the Chilean Air Force site beside Santiago’s Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. The 2028 edition runs for six days in April. The first part of the week is for trade visitors\, with manufacturers\, airlines and air forces from across the Americas and beyond\, while the closing days open to the public with flying displays and a large static park. Chile’s own Halcones aerobatic team is usually a highlight\, and foreign air forces often send fighters and transport aircraft. The Andes make a spectacular backdrop on a clear day. April is autumn in Chile\, with comfortable temperatures\, so it’s a pleasant time to visit Santiago.
